Do you want to give a presentation to your audience that they will a) remember and b) bring them to action? Try weaving in a personal story with examples of how you deliver results. By doing this, people will remember how you made them feel. The reality is that your audience will forget much of what you say after your presentation, but they will remember a story that resonated with them and brought a personal connection. Weave in a personal story during your next presentation or meeting.
Maya Angelou said it best: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” And you can do this by telling an impactful story that evokes emotion – because people WILL remember how you made them feel.
