I’m on the beach in Malibu! Ahhhhhh vacation…. A great way to recharge your battery! I’ve been talking about burnout quite a bit these past few weeks, and the more I spoke about burnout, the more I realized that I too was starting to feel the dreaded symptoms of burnout. Before I left frigid NYC, I set a plan to combat burnout on my vacation. I knew I wanted to restore, recharge and relax. So whether you’re taking a vacation or working your 9-5, here are my top 3 tips to beat burnout.
- Make it a priority and write down your plan
- Make a list of things that recharge you, think of the things that will refill your gas tank
- Schedule it in the calendar, if you don’t, it most likely won’t happen
Remember: when you take care of yourself and you feel your best, it’s a win-win for you and everyone else around you.
