Say this: There is no reason I can't learn something new.

Say this: If I try it and don't like it I don't have to stick with it BUT at least I stepped out of my comfort zone.
Don't say this: I'm afraid to try something new.
Say this: I've had a lot of "firsts."
Some worked, some didn't but I gave it a shot.

Say this: I won’t know if I can achieve that goal unless I try!
Don’t say this: What if someone thinks this plan is ridiculous?
Say this: My value isn’t tied up in someone’s opinion or acceptance of me and my ideas.
Don’t say this: I need to say yes to everything for everyone to like me.
Say this: Before I say yes I ask myself, “Is this contributing to my best life?” If so, then I happily agree. If not, I politely say, “thanks, but no thanks.”
