I am going to give you some practical steps you can take to measure your own happiness, including:

1. Draw your own happiness scale, with 1 being the worst time in your life and 10 being the best. Where does today fit?

2. Track your emotional energy and use it to guide your happiness.

3. Have you ever heard of The Spoon Theory? Say you start your day with ten spoons. You need to spend a spoon for those things that drain your energy.
